Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of 3Diagno, the 3D orthopaedic assessment and special-tests simulator published on Google Play and the App Store under package identifiers com.drfaris.physiomotion (Android) and com.drfaris.Diagno (iOS), and available on the web at thsstemed.co. The app is developed and published by Dr. Faris Arab (“the developer”). By installing, opening or using 3Diagno you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

3Diagno is an assessment aid for clinicians, educators and students. It helps structure an assessment: it reads plain-language symptom descriptions, asks adaptive history questions, plays orthopaedic special tests on a 3D articulated model, and presents a ranked differential shortlist as confidence bands.

It is not a diagnostic device, not a regulated medical device, and not a substitute for professional examination, medical imaging, laboratory investigation or independent clinical judgment. Every output is a suggestion for a qualified clinician to accept, revise or reject. 3Diagno does not prescribe treatment or exercise, by design.

Responsibility for any clinical decision rests entirely with the treating clinician. Do not use 3Diagno as the sole basis for a diagnosis, a referral, or a decision to withhold care. If a presentation suggests an emergency, seek emergency medical care — do not rely on the app’s red-flag screening, which is a prompt, not a safety net.

Installing 3Diagno from an authorised application store, or using it at its official web address, grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to run the app for its intended clinical, educational and reference purposes.

That is the whole of the licence. It conveys no ownership and no rights in the app’s source code, data files, clinical content, 3D models or assets.

3Diagno and all of its content are the exclusive property of the developer, protected by copyright and database rights. Unless you have the developer’s written permission, you may not:

• copy, reproduce, republish, mirror or redistribute the app or any part of it, in source or built form;
• extract, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the app, or extract its data files, 3D models, textures or clinical content from a distributed application package — including an APK, AAB, IPA or static web bundle;
• use the clinical content — the symptom vocabularies, feature definitions, differential weight tables, priors and calibration values, special-test descriptions, or the pose and animation data — to build, train, seed, evaluate or populate any other product, dataset, model or service;
• create derivative works from the app or its clinical content;
• remove, obscure or alter any copyright notice, provenance identifier or corpus identifier contained in the app or its data files;
• redistribute the app under another name, or repackage it for any store or download site.

The clinical content is an original compilation. Its selection, arrangement, wording, ordinal weightings and calibrated priors are the product of substantial clinical authoring and review, and are protected independently of the code that reads them.

Builds of 3Diagno and its clinical data files carry provenance identifiers that allow a copy to be traced to the build it came from. These identifiers are part of the app’s protection and must not be stripped or altered.

Assessment details, notes, joint positions, recordings and report content that you enter remain yours. 3Diagno processes them on your device; the developer operates no account system and no patient database. How this is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for obtaining any consent your jurisdiction and professional body require before entering patient information, for the security of the device you use, and for how you share or store any report you export.

3Diagno is offered to users acting within their own scope of practice. You are responsible for holding the qualifications, registration and insurance that your jurisdiction requires, and for complying with the standards of your professional body. Nothing in the app extends your scope of practice or substitutes for supervision or training.

The app is provided on an as-available basis. Features, clinical content and body regions may be added, corrected or withdrawn as clinical review continues — clinical content is revised precisely because it is reviewed. The developer does not warrant uninterrupted availability, and may discontinue the app or any part of it.

3Diagno is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, clinical accuracy or completeness. Clinical content is authored and reviewed in good faith and may still contain errors or omissions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer accepts no liability for any clinical decision made with reference to the app, nor for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

The licence in section 3 ends automatically if you breach section 4. The developer may also withdraw it at any time. On termination you must stop using 3Diagno and delete any copy in your possession.

These terms may be updated when the app’s features, platform requirements or legal obligations change. The current version remains available at this URL with its effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
